About this plugin
Fischer Music Club's SADturator is a surgical multiband saturation tool designed for precision saturation across the frequency spectrum. Unlike broadband saturators that color an entire mix uniformly, this plugin divides the audio into independent frequency bands, each with its own saturation circuit and character controls. This architecture allows engineers to target saturation where it's needed most - tightening low-end punch without affecting vocal clarity, or adding harmonic density to midrange elements without brightening highs.
The plugin excels at detailed mixing tasks where conventional saturation proves too blunt. It's particularly valuable for mastering engineers refining problematic sources and mixing professionals seeking surgical control over harmonic enhancement. The multiband approach prevents the accumulation of saturation artifacts that plague single-stage saturators on complex material.

SADturator sits comfortably alongside competitors like FabFilter Pro-DS and Waves C6, offering comparable frequency resolution with a distinctly transparent character. Its straightforward interface avoids excessive nesting, making real-time adjustments intuitive during mixing sessions. For engineers accustomed to multiband compression's precision, SADturator extends that methodology into saturation territory, rewarding thoughtful frequency-specific processing with cohesive, detailed results.
