The plugin generates musical saturation across three frequency ranges - low, mid, and high - each with selectable harmonic character and independent dynamics control. This architecture produces perceived presence and loudness gains without the peak level inflation typical of traditional boosting.

The core strength lies in its saturation options. Six per-band characters span from the smooth musicality of MAIN through tube-style even harmonics, transistor odd harmonics, magnetic tape compression artifacts, and a clean linear boost. This granularity allows frequency-specific tonal shaping that responds naturally to different content. A transistor mode on the high band differs meaningfully from tape saturation on the low band, enabling precision impossible with single-algorithm exciters.
