About this plugin
Loopmasters' House & Techno Chords plugin delivers a focused toolkit for harmonic development in electronic music contexts. Rather than attempting broad functionality, the instrument concentrates on chord generation and voicing manipulation specifically calibrated for house and techno production workflows. The plugin provides a library of preset chord progressions rooted in the harmonic conventions of these genres - major seventh extensions, minor voicings, and suspended structures that map intuitively to contemporary dance music aesthetics.
The sonic character emphasizes clarity and definition across the frequency spectrum. Its synthesis engine handles polyphonic rendering with clean, uncolored output that integrates efficiently into dense mixes without introducing unwanted artifacts or phase issues. This technical restraint distinguishes it from competitors that often layer unnecessary processing or character coloration.

The interface prioritizes workflow efficiency. Chord selection operates via intuitive MIDI triggering, and the step sequencer integration allows rapid progression building without excessive menu diving. Parameter automation lanes remain accessible for real-time modulation of voicing texture and harmonic density.
House and techno producers working with DAW-based composition will find this plugin particularly valuable during arrangement and harmonic sketching phases. It functions most effectively as a compositional aid rather than a standalone instrument, complementing drum machines and bass synthesis rather than replacing them. Experienced producers seeking to streamline harmonic development without philosophical compromises regarding sound design will recognize its practical value within an established production chain.
