The plugin leverages Waves Nx spatial imaging technology to reconstruct the three-dimensional soundfield of Lord-Alge's studio. Rather than merely applying EQ, the system creates convincing virtual room reflections and speaker positioning that relocates the stereo image away from the center of your head. This fundamental shift in perception makes critical decisions about depth, balance, and spatial relationships far more reliable when mixing through phones. The included database of over 270 headphone models applies corrective EQ curves to counteract the frequency aberrations inherent to each device, while optional head tracking via webcam adds positional variation that increases the illusion of external speakers.
