About this plugin
Renegade Audio's Totally Dubwise - Dub To Jungle Vol. 2 is a specialized effects plugin designed to bridge the sonic territories between dub reggae's cavernous processing and jungle's fractured, rhythmic textures. The plugin combines vintage-style delay, reverb, and filter modulation in a framework built specifically for time-stretched and breakbeat-heavy material. Its core strength lies in creating the characteristic ghostly repeats and filtered decay that define both genres, while maintaining clarity through dense drum patterns.
The plugin's technical approach centers on multi-tap delay lines with integrated high-pass filtering and modulated reverb tails, allowing producers to craft the signature "dub out" effects that define these styles. The decay and feedback parameters respond intuitively to breakbeats, preventing the typical mud that occurs when applying standard reverbs to chopped percussion.

Totally Dubwise Vol. 2 appeals to jungle, drum and bass, and UK garage producers seeking authentic period-correct processing without resorting to hardware emulation chains. Among comparable tools, it occupies a niche space - more specialized than general reverb plugins, yet more practical than genre-specific novelty tools. For producers working in these idioms, it functions as a legitimate creative engine rather than merely a decorative effect.
