About this plugin
The H9 Plug-in Series Bundle represents Eventide's most comprehensive collection of studio effects, bundling their flagship algorithms into a cohesive toolkit that bridges professional mixing and sound design. Built on decades of hardware expertise, these plugins deliver the sonic density and character that define Eventide's reputation in the industry.
The centerpiece of the collection is the Ribbon control, an intuitive morphing interface that maps two completely different effect states to a single fader. This proves invaluable for dynamic automation, allowing producers to craft expressive sweeps and effect throws without excessive parameter manipulation. MIDI modulation via keyboard mod wheels adds tactile control that traditional mouse-based workflows cannot replicate.

CrushStation, included in the bundle, exemplifies Eventide's approach to effects design. Rather than emulating classic distortion boxes, it synthesizes saturation, compression, EQ, and the distinctive "Sag" control - inspired by the degradation of failing analog hardware. This layered approach yields textures ranging from transparent warmth to aggressive sonic degradation, with 35 factory presets covering practical applications across genres.
The bundle accommodates both surgical correction and expressive sound design. Engineers working in post-production will appreciate the precise control and transparent algorithms, while electronic producers and sound designers can exploit the depth and character of CrushStation's saturation stages and modulation options.
Valued at over $1100 individually, this collection represents efficient purchasing for facilities requiring comprehensive effect processing. The plugins maintain Eventide's characteristic sonic signature - detailed, colorful, and responsive to subtle adjustments - making them a credible addition to any professional workflow.
