About this plugin
Sinevibes' Eternal brings the hypnotic motion of barber-pole flanging to your DAW with technical sophistication rarely seen in plugin implementations. Unlike conventional flangers that sweep cyclically upward then downward, Eternal maintains unidirectional pitch motion through a six-output low-frequency oscillator that continuously modulates three parallel flangers in a cascading crossfade pattern. The through-zero phase design ensures seamless transitions between directional shifts, eliminating the pitch dips and artifacts that plague less refined approaches to this effect.
The plugin's architecture reflects Sinevibes' collaboration with Korg's engineering standards. Studio-grade DSP algorithms receive careful calibration for both sonic accuracy and CPU efficiency, while the parameter mapping demonstrates genuine consideration for tactile workflow rather than generic automation curves. Built-in lag filtering handles parameter smoothing without introducing the latency or artifacts typical of poorly implemented MIDI learn systems.

Sonically, Eternal occupies a sweet spot between subtlety and drama. At conservative settings, it imparts a gentle rotational warmth to vocals and instruments. Pushed harder, the effect becomes a compelling, almost hypnotic texture - useful for creating tension in cinematic work or lending movement to otherwise static pad sounds. The plugin particularly shines on synthesizers, where the barber-pole motion complements existing modulation for complex, evolving timbres.
This tool appeals most to engineers seeking precise creative control within a specific effect category rather than those wanting versatile multi-effects. For ambient music, experimental electronic production, and sound design-forward mixing, Eternal delivers genuine sonic character backed by competent technical execution.
