About this plugin
Ohmboyz Infinity is a multi-tap delay plugin that prioritizes modulation depth and creative signal routing over conventional echo simulation. The core architecture features two independent stereo delay lines with distinct sonic characters - one modeling tape saturation and compression, the other maintaining digital clarity - that can be chained in series, parallel, or hybrid configurations. This dual-line approach allows producers to layer warm, characterful repeats against pristine repeats without sacrificing mix clarity through the integrated ducking mechanism.
The plugin's primary strength lies in its tap-based architecture, supporting up to eight individually controllable delay taps. Each tap offers independent control over timing, pitch, panning, and tone, transforming what might otherwise be static echoes into rhythmically complex, spatially interesting texture. The ability to route filters, distortion, and frequency shifting within individual tap chains rather than only at the output creates opportunities for elaborate feedback structures that remain tonally coherent rather than mud-prone.

The modulation engine extends beyond standard LFO implementations, offering an advanced control surface for parameter animation. Built-in effects - reverb, frequency shifter, and distortion - operate within feedback loops, enabling the creation of degraded, shifting soundscapes typical of hardware dub processing without requiring external plugin chains.
Infinity mode captures and sustains feedback indefinitely, functioning as a creative freeze tool rather than a simple infinite repeat function. This positions Infinity as essential equipment for sound designers, ambient producers, and engineers seeking sophisticated delay processing beyond conventional spatial effects. It demands experienced hands but rewards technical exploration with genuinely distinctive results.
