About this plugin
House Chord Progressions is a MIDI plugin designed to accelerate composition within house music production. Rather than functioning as a sound design tool, it operates as a generative sequencer that produces chord voicings and progressions based on user-selected parameters including key, scale, and harmonic density. The plugin maps these progressions to your DAW's MIDI output, allowing quick auditioning across different synthesizers and instruments.
The tool excels for producers seeking to establish harmonic frameworks rapidly, particularly those working within deep house, progressive house, or tech house contexts where sophisticated chord movement distinguishes professional productions. Its approach favors efficiency over creative constraint - the generated progressions serve as starting points rather than finished arrangements.

Among similar MIDI generators, House Chord Progressions distinguishes itself through house-specific voicing algorithms that favor the suspended chords and extended harmonies characteristic of the genre. However, experienced composers may find its output somewhat formulaic for advanced harmonic experimentation. The plugin integrates smoothly into standard DAW workflows and requires no external processing, making it valuable for rapid ideation sessions and template construction rather than detailed harmonic refinement.
