About this plugin
MicroPitch Immersive extends Eventide's foundational pitch-shift and delay technique into the spatial domain, delivering up to 12 channels of decorrelated, detuned processing across immersive formats including Dolby Atmos. The plugin maintains the sonic character that made the original MicroPitch essential to professional stereo mixes since the H910 era: subtle detuning and strategic delay create width and depth without the artifacts or phase issues common to simpler widening tools.
The technical approach centers on independent control across three dimensional axes. Users can tilt left/right, front/back, and top/main detune parameters separately, enabling asymmetrical spatial distribution that responds naturally to mix geometry rather than forcing symmetry. Parametric EQ on front, top, and rear channels provides fine control over how the effect sits within the listening space, while a morphing system allows dynamic transitions between two settings - particularly valuable for sound design and dynamic mixes.

The interface prioritizes workflow efficiency through MetaParameters and MegaControl, eliminating the tedious channel-by-channel adjustments that immersive mixing typically demands. This makes the plugin equally suited to music production, film post-production, and interactive media work.
Among immersive spatialization tools, MicroPitch Immersive occupies a unique position: it's neither a simple panning utility nor a convolution-based reverb, but rather a decorrelation engine with spatial intent. For engineers experienced with Eventide's ecosystem, the sonic continuity with existing tools streamlines workflow. For those new to immersive mixing, the thoughtful interface lowers the barrier to creating genuinely three-dimensional mixes without sacrificing depth of control or sonic quality.
