About this plugin
The H3000 Band Delays Mk II represents a meaningful refinement of Eventide's multiband delay architecture, bringing the sonic character of the original hardware processor into modern production workflows. The core engine divides incoming audio across eight independent delay lines, each with dedicated controls for level, pan position, filter type, cutoff frequency, and resonance. This modular approach enables complex rhythmic textures, spatial effects, and harmonic manipulation that extend far beyond conventional delay plug-ins.
The critical improvements in Mk II center on analog modeling. Eventide has rebuilt the ADC and DAC converter sections with enhanced fidelity to the original hardware, capturing the subtle saturation and harmonic coloration that defined the H3000's legendary sound. Equally important are the redesigned filters, which now accurately emulate the self-oscillating behavior and resonant character of the vintage circuitry rather than approximating it mathematically.

Practically speaking, the expanded preset library and resizable interface make the tool more accessible than its predecessor, while the Function Generator with 19 waveforms and assignable macros enable sophisticated LFO modulation across parameters. MIDI control integration broadens creative possibilities in live and studio settings alike.
This crossgrade suits engineers already familiar with Mk I's workflow who want measurable improvements in sound quality and modeling accuracy. For producers invested in complex delay work - from ambient soundscaping to intricate rhythmic effects - the refinements justify the upgrade. Among comparable multiband processors, Band Delays maintains a distinct voice rooted in Eventide's algorithmic heritage.
