About this plugin
Flux Pro stands as a capable modulation workstation that consolidates multiple effect types into a single, graph-driven interface. Rather than presenting modulation as an afterthought, Caelum Audio positions it as the primary creative tool, with three customizable automation lanes capable of governing ten distinct effect modules: two filter types, two delay variants, chorus/flanger, phaser, width control, rate modulation, ring modulation, and utility processing.
The plugin's core strength lies in its flexibility. A 48-preset shape library enables rapid deployment of common modulation patterns, while manual graph editing accommodates deeper sound design. The ability to assign all three automation curves to any effect slot combination means workflows remain unobstructed by predetermined signal flow. Ring modulation with harmonic control adds textural grit to bass and synth sources, while the fixed delay's sample-accurate timing suits both rhythmic precision and creative time-stretching applications.

Where Flux Pro distinguishes itself is through sidechain capability. Routing MIDI from another track triggers modulation independently of the host track's timing, opening mixing applications beyond conventional effect use. This proves particularly useful for dynamic contrast and arrangement clarity.
The interface prioritizes immediacy without sacrificing depth. Those seeking quick movement will find the shape library invaluable, while comprehensive users can sculpt intricate parameter automation across multiple effects simultaneously.
Flux Pro appeals primarily to electronic producers and sound designers already comfortable with modulation-heavy workflows. For engineers seeking a single, versatile modulation hub rather than managing multiple single-effect plugins, it delivers solid value. It occupies practical middle ground within the modulation plugin ecosystem - neither simplistic nor as deep-featured as dedicated spectral resynthesizers, but competent across a genuine range of applications.
