About this plugin
Audiority's Pedalboard Distortions Bundle consolidates four analogue-modelled stompbox simulations into a single collection, each capturing the electrical behaviour and harmonic character of its source hardware with unusual precision. The bundle comprises the Green Reaper GR9 (based on the Ibanez TS-808 topology), Heavy Pedal (Swedish Chainsaw architecture), Big Goat (a mid-70s fuzzbox design), and Blue Face (vintage fuzz circuitry), spanning the distortion spectrum from transparent overdrive through saturated fuzz.
What distinguishes this collection is Audiority's circuit-level modelling approach. Rather than applying generic distortion algorithms, each plugin recreates the specific gain staging, harmonic generation, and tonal filtering inherent to its source pedal. The Green Reaper particularly excels at reproducing the TS-808's legendary smoothness across gain ranges, while Heavy Pedal delivers the focused, aggressive character prized by metal musicians. Big Goat and Blue Face contribute harmonic-rich saturation with extended sustain, characteristic of fuzz topology.

Each plugin includes practical production features: independent mix controls for blending wet and dry signals, switchable pre and post-gain configurations, noise gating to manage artifacts, and resizable interfaces suited to modern DAW workflows. The inclusion of alternative circuit variants on some models provides additional tonal flexibility beyond the original pedal specifications.
This bundle best serves producers and engineers seeking authentic vintage distortion textures without hardware constraints. Whether tracking clean guitars through multiple stompbox emulations or adding character to synths and drums, the Pedalboard Distortions Bundle delivers the harmonic complexity and dynamic responsiveness that characterised classic stompbox design.
