About this plugin
MultiDrive PRO consolidates twelve classic overdrive, distortion, fuzz, and boost circuits into a single plugin, eliminating the need for extensive pedal collections while maintaining the character of hardware models. Audified's approach focuses on circuit-accurate emulation rather than generic saturation processing, capturing how each topology responds to input dynamics and interacts with downstream signal chain components.
The plugin spans a broad tonal palette. The Tube Screamer variants (TS-808 and TS-9) deliver mid-forward coloration ideal for pushing tube amplifier saturation, while the Blues Driver and OD-1 offer more transparent gain structures suitable for preserving pick articulation and playing dynamics. The SD-1 excels as a secondary boost stage. Distortion circuits range from the DS-1's sharp attack to the RAT's aggressive versatility and the Metal Zone's extreme high-gain character with parametric EQ control. Two fuzz options - Fuzz Face and Big Muff Pi - provide contrasting saturation flavors: the former emphasizing midrange presence, the latter delivering wide, scooped sustain.

MultiDrive PRO is essential for producers working with guitar-based material who need rapid access to period-correct tones without committing to specialized hardware or managing multiple plugin instances. It performs equally well in mixing contexts, where its compact interface and CPU efficiency prove valuable when stacking effects across numerous tracks. The plugin's strength lies in its scope rather than deep customization per circuit. Engineers comfortable with hardware topology trade-offs will recognize and appreciate the sonic signatures, while those seeking extensive parameter manipulation may find the fixed controls limiting. It represents a pragmatic solution for comprehensive drive-effect coverage in modern production workflows.
