About this plugin
Amp Room: Marshall Suite represents a comprehensive software recreation of five cornerstone Marshall amplifier designs, developed by Softube in partnership with Marshall Amplification. The plugin delivers component-level modeling of the Plexi Super Lead 1959, Silver Jubilee 2555, JMP 2203, Bluesbreaker 1962, and JCM800 Lead Series, each calibrated against Marshall's reference units to capture the harmonic complexity and responsiveness of the originals.
The suite includes twelve matched cabinet simulations with moveable microphone positioning, allowing precise control over proximity and off-axis coloration. This approach, combined with parametric EQ and thirteen additional effects and utilities, enables comprehensive tone shaping within a single interface. The ten included stompbox emulations, notably the Guv'nor overdrive, facilitate integrated signal chain construction without plugin chaining.

Technically, the modeling prioritizes playing dynamics and touch sensitivity. Each amp responds distinctly to input gain and pick attack, a critical characteristic absent from more simplified amp simulations. The cabinet IRs with adjustable microphone placement provide practical flexibility for matching room characteristics or session requirements.
This plugin serves producers and engineers requiring authentic Marshall tonality for rock, metal, and blues contexts without hardware investment or space constraints. It stands competitively against UAD's Marshall collection and other boutique amp modeling solutions, distinguishing itself through the parametric EQ integration and the specific selection of iconic designs spanning Marshall's history.
Amp Room: Marshall Suite functions as both a professional mixing tool and a practical alternative to hardware for tracking and demo work, suitable for users already invested in the Amp Room ecosystem or those seeking a complete Marshall-focused amp suite.
