About this plugin
Fabric Vintage Memorymoog is a software recreation of the original Moog Memory Moog synthesizer, engineered through AIR Music Technology's Fabric synthesis engine. The plugin faithfully captures the sonic character of one of analog synthesis's most distinctive instruments: warm, harmonically dense oscillators capable of producing massive unison textures that sit naturally in dense mixes without requiring aggressive EQ compensation.
The architecture centers on two multi-sample oscillators paired with a virtual analog sub-oscillator and noise generator, feeding into a global filter and envelope section with independent LFO control per oscillator. This layout provides both the immediacy of immediate sound design and sufficient modulation depth for complex, evolving textures. The Fabric engine's approach prioritizes consistency across MPC hardware and desktop DAW environments, making workflows intuitive for engineers already familiar with AIR's instrument ecosystem.

Sonically, Fabric Vintage Memorymoog excels at lush polyphonic pads, expressive leads with natural vibrato and modulation characteristics, and surprisingly punchy basses that retain clarity through frequency-dense arrangements. The plugin doesn't attempt surgical precision; instead, it embraces the slight nonlinearities and harmonic complexity that defined the original hardware's character.
Best suited for producers working in cinematic, ambient, and electronic music contexts, Fabric Vintage Memorymoog also serves as a capable workhorse for pop and hip-hop production where vintage-influenced textures provide tonal distinction. Compared to raw VA synthesis, it trades some modulation flexibility for authentic harmonic density and character. It's available across MPC Standalone, MPC Desktop, and major DAWs.
