About this plugin
BALANCE is Zynaptiq's adaptive equalizer designed to rapidly reshape the frequency response of any audio source against a user-defined target curve. Unlike conventional parametric or graphic EQs that require manual band-by-band adjustment, BALANCE analyzes incoming audio and automatically distributes gain across the frequency spectrum to match your chosen response. The plugin handles this through four primary controls - SLOPE, WEIGHTING, BASS, and AIR - which define the target curve rather than individual frequency bands, making global tonal reshaping intuitive and fast.
The technical foundation rests on Zynaptiq's proprietary minimum phase filtering architecture. This approach delivers exceptionally clean sound with just 3 samples of latency and minimal CPU overhead, enabling hundreds of instances on modern systems. The minimum phase design eliminates pre-ringing artifacts that plague linear phase alternatives, making BALANCE suitable for both mix buses and tracking applications without compromise.

Support for up to 16 channels positions this plugin firmly in the immersive and surround mixing space, while its Metal/Direct 3D accelerated analyzer offloads processing strain to the GPU. The compact EASY view provides an alternative interface for streamlined workflow.
BALANCE occupies a practical middle ground between match EQ functionality and everyday usability. Mix engineers will appreciate its ability to rapidly rebalance full mixes or isolate problem sources. Sound designers and content creators benefit from quickly establishing reference tonality across varied material. The plugin's low latency and CPU efficiency make it suitable as a default insert, encouraging experimentation without performance penalty. It represents a thoughtful alternative to traditional EQ workflows for engineers seeking faster, more intuitive tonal control.
