Harmonix is a comprehensive Kontakt instrument that models natural string harmonics across three carefully sampled instruments: a Gibson ES-335 electric guitar, an Alhambra A3 acoustic, and a Fender Jazz Bass. The library captures the distinctive tonal characteristics of each harmonic type, delivering authentic overtone behavior that reflects how the physics of string vibration naturally produces these crystalline, bell-like textures.

What distinguishes Harmonix from basic harmonic sample libraries is its integration of professional mixing and effects architecture. The built-in mixer allows independent processing of each instrument channel with pan, width control ranging from full stereo to mono, and a doubler effect for thickening textures. The effects suite, powered by Wavesfactory's proprietary script system, provides genuine production tools rather than cosmetic processors: parametric EQ, multiple compressor types, modulation effects like chorus and phaser, distortion and saturation stages, amp simulation, and convolution reverb with over 40 custom impulse responses.

The sequencer adds significant compositional utility, offering seven preset patterns with adjustable tempo, step count, and playback modes including up, down, random, and as-played. Individual sequencer tables per instrument can be drawn and edited, while a unison control allows synchronized multi-instrument arrangements.
