X-Click and X-Crackle use transient detection to identify and suppress impulsive noise, making them effective on vinyl transfers and aged recordings. X-Hum employs harmonic analysis to target AC hum and its overtones with surgical precision. X-Noise and Z-Noise represent different methodologies: X-Noise works through spectral subtraction of learned noise profiles, while Z-Noise uses a profile-based algorithm that learns specific unwanted sounds and removes them with minimal collateral damage to desired content.
