About this plugin
The Pianos & Keys Bundle represents a comprehensive sampling-based approach to keyboard emulation, delivering meticulously recorded acoustic and electric piano instruments across multiple plugin formats. The collection centers on a multisampled Fazioli concert grand piano captured with three stereo microphone pairs offering eight distinct mic perspectives, allowing users to shape the instrument's tonal character from intimate close-mic'd detail to ambient hall representation. This flexibility proves particularly valuable in mixing contexts where piano sits within dense arrangements.
The electric piano selections - including Clavinet, Electric 200, Electric 88, and Electric Grand 80 variants - address the sonic signatures that defined soul, funk, and progressive rock production. Each electric model incorporates a comprehensive multi-effects suite featuring amp simulation, chorus, tremolo, and saturation options, capturing the processing chains integral to classic recordings. The velocity response across all instruments demonstrates careful attention to the nuanced dynamic behavior that distinguishes quality sampling libraries from generic banks.

Technical implementation includes standalone operation capabilities for live performance, VST/AU/AAX plugin support, and Native Instruments Komplete Kontrol integration. Users can adjust mechanical noise characteristics and customize velocity curves, accommodating different playing styles and touch preferences. The availability of both High-Definition and Standard sample libraries allows flexibility in CPU overhead and storage requirements.
This bundle suits producers and engineers seeking authentic keyboard textures without the latency concerns associated with some hardware modeling approaches. The combination of acoustic and electric instruments covers substantial stylistic ground, though users should evaluate whether the specific tonal character aligns with their production aesthetic before committing.
