About this plugin
Curves AQ represents a meaningful departure from conventional EQ design by leveraging generative AI to analyze spectral content and propose five distinct equalization curves tailored to your source material. Rather than offering preset templates, the plugin generates original curves based on the actual characteristics of your audio - whether vocals, instruments, or full mixes - then allows you to select and refine whichever profile resonates with your aesthetic goals.
The technical foundation rests on MixSense technology, which contextualizes processing decisions relative to your mix environment, adjusting how aggressively the EQ operates based on what's already present in your session. This contextual awareness helps prevent the overzealous or tonally disconnected processing that plagues many AI audio tools.

Beyond the generative component, Curves AQ provides five reimagined EQ controls that deliver genuine creative agency. You can independently adjust boosting and cutting, work globally or target specific bands, apply Smart Tilt for broadstroke tonal rebalancing, and dial in the ratio between static and dynamic EQ processing. The Offset feature shifts the frequency focal point of processing along the X-axis, effectively reframing where the algorithm concentrates its attention.
The inclusion of Curves AQ LIVE - a zero-latency variant - extends the plugin's utility into live performance and real-time monitoring scenarios where conventional Curves AQ's processing would introduce unacceptable delay.
Curves AQ suits engineers and producers seeking intelligent first-pass EQ suggestions without surrendering hands-on control, particularly in workflows where rapid iteration across multiple tonal directions proves valuable.
