About this plugin
Electri6ity stands as one of the most comprehensively sampled virtual guitar instruments available, built on extensive multisampling of eight signature electric guitar models. Vir2 Instruments captured over 24,000 individual 24-bit samples per instrument, enabling playback across every fret, string, and articulation with genuine tonal variation. The plugin's architecture accommodates three pickup configurations - front, rear, and blended - giving producers substantial sonic flexibility before processing.
The instrument's technical foundation relies on sophisticated scripting tools, particularly the Articulation Morphing Technology (A.M.T.) and Velocity Morphing Technology (V.M.T.), which facilitate seamless transitions between playing states - from muted to sustained tones, or across dynamic ranges. An AI-driven string and fretboard positioning system intelligently adapts to playing patterns, reducing the need for manual articulation mapping. The legato engine handles fluid single-note lines convincingly, while the chord detection system recognizes approximately two thousand voicings for realistic strummed and picked chord playback.

Sonically, Electri6ity provides clean, unprocessed guitar signals suitable for further shaping. The included effects suite covers essentials - phaser, flanger, chorus, reverb, delay - alongside amp simulations representing seven distinct tonalities from jazz-oriented to high-gain metal profiles. A Screamer module adds additional saturation control. Users can bypass the internal processing entirely to employ external amp simulators or hardware chains.
The plugin runs on the Kontakt 4 engine and supports VST, AudioUnit, and RTAS protocols. Electri6ity serves producers requiring authentic electric guitar textures without session musician availability, particularly those working within orchestral, film, or hybrid composition contexts where guitar authenticity matters substantially.
