About this plugin
Virtual Pianist SCORE is a specialized instrument plugin designed to streamline orchestral scoring workflows for film, television, games, and podcasts. Built around a meticulously sampled Steinway D Grand Piano, the instrument provides two distinct operational modes: a traditional performance interface for direct playing, and an AI-assisted Player mode that generates musically coherent accompaniment from a library of over 180 customizable phrases.
The sonic foundation relies on detailed multisampling and mixing of a premium concert grand, delivering a tonal palette that spans from intimate and resonant to bright and assertive. The plugin's character selection system - Abyss, Damped, Mellow, Pure, and Royal - allows producers to quickly shift between tonal personalities without deep parameter editing. This approach prioritizes workflow efficiency over granular sound design.

Where SCORE distinguishes itself is in its integration with UJAM's broader ecosystem. The 45 Finisher Multi-Effect modes and 45 Ambience FX presets work in concert with the core piano sound, while MIDI drag and drop functionality enables pairing with complementary tools like Virtual Bassist ROYAL and Finisher FLUXX for complete orchestral arrangements. A "Busyness" control in Player mode allows adjustment of phrase density and complexity.
SCORE targets producers and composers who need production-ready piano tracks without extensive performance or programming expertise. Its strength lies in rapid iteration and sketch-to-polish capability rather than boutique sonic character. The preset-heavy architecture makes it most valuable for creators prioritizing efficiency, though the instrument mode accommodates traditional performance input for those seeking more direct control.
