About this plugin
Finisher VOODOO is a creative effects processor built for transforming guitar signals through 50 parametrically designed modes. The plugin stacks up to 40 effect modules per mode, combining multiband compression, distortion, convolution, modulation, filtering, EQ, envelope following, and granular processing into complex chains. Rather than presenting individual effect units, VOODOO consolidates these into cohesive sonic preset architectures where a master Finisher knob and four variation controls manage multiple parameters simultaneously via macro programming.
The plugin's strength lies in its tonal character - it favors organic warmth and textural complexity over clinical precision. The sound design leans toward character-driven effects: saturated compression with harmonic coloration, modulated delays with analog character, and convolution spaces that add dimensionality without transparency. This approach suits musicians and producers seeking immediate aesthetic impact rather than surgical audio correction.

VOODOO functions effectively across diverse source material including electric and acoustic guitars, synths, keyboards, and vocals. For users of UJAM's Virtual Guitarist series, integration is seamless, though the plugin performs equally well as a mastering or mixing tool on any signal. The 150+ presets provide genuine starting points rather than token variations, each demonstrating specific sonic territories from high-gain distortion to subtle harmonic enhancement.
The architecture assumes users value rapid sonic exploration within pre-defined sound design frameworks. This differs fundamentally from traditional effects chains where individual processor tweaking dominates workflow. VOODOO prioritizes inspiration and character development over granular control, positioning itself as a finishing stage processor rather than a foundational tone-shaping tool.
