About this plugin
TAL-BassLine-101 is a monophonic bass synthesizer that delivers the tonal character of vintage acid synthesizers through meticulously modeled circuits rather than sample playback. The plugin generates all waveforms in real-time using alias-free oscillators, making it suitable for any sample rate without compromise. Its centerpiece is a self-resonating, zero-feedback 24dB low-pass filter calibrated against TAL's hardware device, engineered specifically to remain smooth and musical even under extreme resonance settings and high oscillator pitches where lesser filters become brittle or unstable.
The synthesis engine supports both original RC and linear portamento modes, capturing the authentic glide characteristics that defined the sound of classic monophonic synthesizers. An onboard step sequencer accommodates up to 96 steps with MIDI export functionality, while the arpeggiator offers multiple sync modes tied to host tempo, MIDI clock, or independent timing. A 6-voice poly mode expands the instrument's range beyond strict monophonic operation. De-clicker functionality addresses envelope artifacts common with slower attack and release times.
