About this plugin
CHOOIR represents a purposeful expansion of UJAM's Symphonic Elements orchestral suite, delivering a dedicated choir module built from Hans Zimmer's personal sample library. The plugin addresses a genuine gap in orchestral composition tools by offering sophisticated control over dual vocal layers - a Low Choir handling male voices across the bass to tenor range, and a High Choir covering female altos, sopranos, and boys' voices. This two-layer architecture enables nuanced ensemble blending without the workflow burden of managing separate instances.
The 70 included styles span legitimate compositional contexts - Epic, Ethereal, Suspense, and atmospheric categories - rather than relying on generic presets. Each style can be shaped through Character and Motion FX controls applied independently to each layer, allowing producers to move beyond simple playback toward active sound design. The Finisher section addresses real-world mixing needs with three master effects: Highlighter for presence control, Ambience for spatial placement, and Widener for stereo imaging.

Sonically, CHOOIR occupies the cinematic scoring space without pretending toward operatic authenticity. The samples reflect modern film orchestration practices rather than pure choral realism, making it most effective for producers working in underscore, trailer music, and hybrid compositions. Integration with UJAM's companion products - STRIIINGS, BRAASS, DRUMS, and PERRCS - creates a cohesive orchestral environment with consistent interface design and sonic character.
This loyalty crossgrade path makes particular sense for existing UJAM users seeking ensemble completion without purchasing a full standalone license. For established orchestral VI workflows, CHOOIR functions as targeted expansion rather than replacement technology.
