About this plugin
Strictly Dub Volume Two is a reverb and delay effects plugin purpose-built for dub reggae production and ambient sound design. The plugin delivers the characteristic spatial treatments that defined classic dub mixing - cavernous, modulated reverbs paired with tape-saturated delay lines that blur rhythmic clarity while maintaining low-end definition. Its signal flow prioritizes feedback control and frequency-dependent processing, allowing producers to create those characteristic wash-outs and ghostly repetitions essential to dub aesthetics.
The plugin's technical approach centers on convolution-based reverb algorithms informed by vintage spring and plate units, combined with analog-modeled delay circuits featuring adjustable feedback saturation. Parameter automation is fluid, making it suitable for both static spatial ambience and dynamic dub effects triggered throughout a mix. The interface prioritizes essential controls without excessive menu diving, appealing to working engineers who demand efficiency.

While dub-specific by design, the plugin serves broader ambient and experimental electronic music applications where controlled decay and harmonic coloration matter more than pristine accuracy. Among specialized dub tools, Strictly Dub Volume Two occupies a practical middle ground - more capable than basic reverbs but more accessible than deep synthesis environments designed around dub signal chains.
