About this plugin
Voice of Wind: Kimba is a comprehensive vocal sample library that delivers professionally recorded chromatic and melodic articulations from mezzo-soprano vocalist Kimba Theurich. Built as the second installment in Soundiron's modular vocal series, this 2.6 GB library contains over 3,000 samples spanning sustains, staccatos with 8x round-robin variation, and true legato transitions across six core vowels, providing the harmonic and phonetic foundation needed for realistic vocal synthesis and arrangement work.
The library's melodic phrase collection sets it apart from basic chromatic articulation tools. Over 1,000 dynamic phrases organized by mood, key, and tempo offer production-ready vocal layers that integrate seamlessly into arrangements without requiring extensive manipulation. The dual-tempo structure - 100bpm and 140bpm for Bright and Dark moods, plus a dedicated 120bpm Hummed category - enables quick synchronization across common production tempos while maintaining sonic coherence.

Theurich's voice carries a naturally warm, breathy character that blends classical restraint with folk and Celtic inflection, making this library particularly suitable for ambient, cinematic, and world music contexts. The inclusion of 20 custom FX and ambient presets extends creative possibilities without necessitating additional processing.
The interface prioritizes workflow efficiency, offering tempo and key flexibility within a refined user environment. This tool serves experienced producers seeking sophisticated vocal textures beyond standard sample packs - particularly those working on film scores, meditation music, or genre-blending projects where vocal authenticity and tonal warmth matter. It represents a capable mid-range option in the vocal library landscape, offering substantive content without premium-tier pricing.
