About this plugin
Weiss Complete Collection 3 represents a significant refinement of Softube's collaboration with the legendary Swiss mastering equipment manufacturer. This upgrade expands upon the foundation established in earlier versions, delivering an essential toolkit for mix engineers and mastering professionals who demand transparent, surgical control over their audio.
The collection centers on field-proven processing architecture: the DS1-MK3 and DS5 dynamics processors provide the kind of intelligent gain reduction that has defined high-end mastering for decades, while the MM-1 maximizer offers transparent loudness management without the artifacts common to lesser algorithms. The EQ1 brings surgical precision to problem-solving and tonal shaping, while the Deess handles sibilance with the finesse expected from Weiss hardware. The Exciter adds harmonic enhancement when needed, and the Compressor/Limiter rounds out the dynamics chain with versatile tone-shaping capability. Integration with Console 1 hardware controllers via the Gambit channel strip enhances workflow efficiency.

What distinguishes this collection is its sonic restraint. Rather than colored or aggressive processing, these tools prioritize accuracy and minimal phase distortion - hallmarks of Weiss Engineering's design philosophy. The modeling captures the mathematical precision of the original hardware without compromise.
This upgrade targets studios already invested in Weiss Complete Collection who seek expanded functionality and refined algorithms. For mastering chains, broadcast post-production, and critical mixing, the collection provides tools that have proven indispensable on major label releases. At its current price point, it represents exceptional value against acquiring equivalent Weiss hardware or competing plugin bundles.
