About this plugin
Sinevibes' Isomer is a specialized delay processor designed exclusively for KORG's compact hardware ecosystem - prologue, minilogue xd, and NTS-1. Rather than emulating conventional delay architecture, it implements a dual-layer approach that proves particularly effective for creating lush, evolving textures without the typical pitch artifacts of modulated feedback systems.
The plugin chains two primary tempo-synced stereo delays into a secondary network of four satellite delays, each with independent feedback paths modulated by phase-offset LFOs. This cascading structure generates a detuning character reminiscent of ensemble effects, but achieved through genuine delay interaction rather than pitch modulation alone. The opposing modulation between channels extends the stereo image in musically coherent ways.

Sinevibes' implementation prioritizes DSP efficiency, critical for these CPU-constrained devices. The built-in lag filtering eliminates zipper noise during real-time parameter adjustment, while parameter mapping appears thoughtfully calibrated to each platform's interface conventions. The near-infinite feedback capability demands careful gain staging, but rewards precision with genuinely experimental possibilities.
Isomer suits producers seeking ambient textural processing or those working within KORG's hardware limitation. It excels at creating space and movement without conventional reverb, making it particularly valuable on the NTS-1's minimal signal path. For compact setup users, it represents a substantial sonic expansion. However, those preferring transparent or traditional delay characteristics may find its ensemble character less immediately applicable. Among delay tools available for these platforms, Isomer's specialized approach and demonstrated sonic quality establish it as a considered choice rather than a generic utility.
