About this plugin
iZotope's RX Post Production Suite 9 represents a meaningful evolution in the toolkit that has become the standard for professional audio restoration and mixing across post-production facilities worldwide. This crossgrade consolidates essential tools for comprehensive mixing and repair workflows into a single, well-integrated environment.
At its core, RX 12 Advanced remains the suite's backbone - the spectral repair engine that generations of post engineers have relied on for dialogue cleaning, noise reduction, and surgical audio corrections. The addition of Equinox brings sophisticated reverb capabilities with immersive format support, including Dolby Atmos, addressing the growing demand for spatial audio delivery. Neutron 5 and Nectar 4 Advanced round out the mixing arsenal, offering professional-grade mixing intelligence and vocal processing that rival standalone suites.

The inclusion of Insight 2 provides essential metering and analysis across Atmos configurations, while Tonal Balance Control 3 ensures mixes translate reliably across listening environments. Relay serves as a utility connector, enabling intelligent inter-plugin communication that streamlines workflow efficiency.
This suite is purpose-built for post-production professionals managing dialogue-heavy projects, sound designers working across immersive formats, and mixing engineers who demand rapid turnaround without compromising quality. The crossgrade pricing from RX 12 Advanced acknowledges existing users while offering legitimate value through Equinox and the Neutron/Nectar updates.
Compared to purchasing tools individually, the bundling provides genuine workflow coherence rather than arbitrary packaging. For professionals already invested in the RX ecosystem, this represents a logical upgrade path rather than a lateral move.
