About this plugin
iZotope's RX Post Production Suite 9 consolidates the company's most essential tools for professional audio repair, mixing, and mastering into a single, integrated workflow. This crossgrade package targets existing RX 11 Advanced owners seeking access to current-generation plugins without purchasing the full suite separately.
The suite's foundation remains RX 12 Advanced, the industry-standard audio repair toolkit known for its surgical precision on dialogue, location recordings, and problematic source material. Its machine learning-assisted tools handle room tone removal, clicks, hum, and spectral repair with minimal artifacts. The inclusion of Neutron 5 provides comprehensive mixing capabilities, while Equinox introduces immersive reverb technology designed specifically for post-production spatial audio, including Dolby Atmos support through Insight 2's multichannel metering.

Nectar 4 Advanced brings vocal-focused processing and pitch correction capabilities, while Tonal Balance Control 3 assists in achieving mixes that translate reliably across playback systems. Relay serves as a utility control center for level, panning, and inter-plugin communication.
This package suits post-production facilities, mixing engineers handling dialogue-heavy projects, and music producers needing professional-grade tools spanning repair through mastering. Rather than attempting to be everything, the Suite strategically pairs RX's unmatched repair capabilities with complementary tools that address specific production stages. The crossgrade pricing acknowledges existing investments while providing meaningful access to upgraded algorithms and new additions like Equinox, making incremental adoption practical for established workflows.
