About this plugin
Total Drums & Complex Fills Vol.2 represents a focused expansion of Reveal Sound's drum processing toolkit, targeting producers who demand precise control over intricate percussive sequences and breakbeat manipulations. The plugin functions as a multi-stage effects engine specifically calibrated for drum tracks, offering granular control over timing, texture, and transient behavior in ways that transcend standard drum bus compression or EQ.
The sonic character leans toward surgical precision rather than character coloration. Complex Fills Vol.2 excels at tightening polyrhythmic passages, managing phase relationships across multi-track drum sessions, and crystallizing the definition of snare ghost notes and tom fills without introducing artifacts or unwanted harmonic colorations. The technical architecture prioritizes transparent processing, making it particularly valuable in mastering-adjacent mixing scenarios where clarity cannot be sacrificed.

This plugin distinguishes itself through its ability to handle the specific challenges that emerge when working with sampled or programmed drum breaks. Where conventional tools falter with timing-dense material, Complex Fills Vol.2 maintains coherence across rapid transient clusters and staggered hit patterns. The processing remains intelligible even under aggressive settings, a characteristic that separates purposeful tools from novelty effects.
The user base skews toward experienced producers working across electronic, hip-hop, and experimental music genres where drum precision directly impacts the final product's impact. While not essential for all mixing scenarios, it fills a legitimate gap for those regularly wrestling with complex percussive arrangements. Its value proposition justifies inclusion in professional toolkits, though it functions best when integrated into a broader effects chain rather than deployed as a standalone solution.
