This plugin captures the sonic signature that shaped the majority of commercially released vinyl from the 1970s through 1990s, translating the hardware's distinctive character into a CPU-efficient software tool.

The W495's topology centers on three broad, musically voiced bands. The low shelf excels at adding weight without introducing muddiness, while the mid-band delivers presence and energy where sources lack punch. The high shelf is particularly prized for its ability to enhance clarity and air without the harshness common to aggressive treble boosts.
