About this plugin
The Blue Bundle pairs two essential mastering tools that address the fundamental challenge of in-the-box mixing: achieving the cohesive, musical character of analog mastering chains without compromising workflow flexibility. The MP-EQ is a parallel-topology equalizer modeled after the passive designs that have anchored mastering rooms for decades. Its fully passive circuit with custom-wound inductors and transformers produces the gentle harmonic coloration and natural band interaction that digital EQs struggle to replicate, even with identical frequency settings. The variable-bias VM-COMP delivers the transparent, cohesive gain reduction characteristic of tube compression, addressing the core limitation of previous software emulations by employing Pulsar's Topology Preservation Technology to achieve sonic parity with the original hardware rather than approximation.
Together, these tools form a complete mastering chain capable of controlling both spectrum and dynamics while imparting significant sonic character. The MP-EQ's mid-side processing and oversampling accommodate surgical correction without phase artifacts, while the VM-COMP's visual sidechain EQ editing and extended timing ranges provide the precision modern production demands.

This bundle is best suited for mastering engineers, mix engineers seeking transparent yet characterful bus processing, and producers who want to move beyond generic plugin stacking. While the sonic approach is decidedly colored rather than neutral, the combination's transparency and musicality across varied program material makes it valuable across genres. The combination justifies its positioning as a foundational mastering investment rather than a specialized effect.
