About this plugin
Natty D: DnB Vocals is a specialized effects plugin designed to process and enhance vocal recordings within the drum and bass production context. Rather than functioning as a traditional vocal processor, the tool focuses on the specific tonal and temporal characteristics that define the genre - emphasizing clarity and presence within fast-moving, breakbeat-heavy arrangements where vocal intelligibility faces constant competition from complex rhythmic layers.
The plugin employs frequency-sculpting and dynamic processing techniques tailored to the aggressive midrange demands of DnB production. Its approach prioritizes cutting through dense instrumental textures while maintaining the natural character of source material, making it particularly suited for producers working with both sampled and recorded vocals.

Rewind Samples positions this tool within the growing category of genre-specific production aids, acknowledging that drum and bass vocal treatment requires a fundamentally different approach than standard pop or hip-hop processing. The plugin finds its strongest application among DnB specialists and breakbeat producers seeking efficient, sonically appropriate solutions without extensive parameter tweaking. It represents a practical acknowledgment that genre conventions, when properly implemented in plugin form, can streamline production workflows significantly.
