About this plugin
Bouquet represents Native Instruments' focused approach to genre-specific sound design, delivering a curated collection of 150 presets optimized for contemporary R&B and pop production. Built as a Kontakt instrument within the Play Series framework, it consolidates analog synthesis, sampled keys, guitars, basses, and organs into a single interface prioritizing workflow efficiency over deep synthesis editing.
The sonic character centers on atmospheric pads and expressive melodic layers typical of modern R&B production. Snipe Young's involvement as Grammy-credited collaborator signals authentic genre sensibility, though the preset collection leans toward accessibility rather than experimental territory. Each preset includes macro controls for real-time parameter adjustment, allowing producers to shift character without diving into the full Kontakt engine.

The effects chain architecture enables custom routing of Kontakt's built-in processors, providing texture layering capabilities without external plugins. This approach works well for producers seeking cohesive, genre-appropriate sound design without the learning curve of synthesis-heavy instruments.
Bouquet best serves working producers and engineers seeking production-ready tones rather than sound design enthusiasts. The preset-forward design means its value depends heavily on sonic preferences and workflow integration. It occupies a middle ground between software synthesizers offering deep editing and simple sample-based instruments, making it most useful within established production pipelines where rapid tonal choices matter more than sound creation from scratch.
