About this plugin
iZotope's Music Production Suite 9 represents a significant step forward for producers and engineers invested in the company's ecosystem. This crossgrade path, exclusive to existing Ozone Standard or Nectar Standard owners, provides access to a comprehensive toolkit that spans mixing, mastering, restoration, and creative processing across 100 plugins.
The suite's core strength lies in its integrated workflow. Ozone 12 Advanced now includes Bass Control and Unlimiter modules alongside a redesigned Stem EQ, enabling surgical control across frequency ranges and dynamic behavior. RX 12 Standard brings professional-grade restoration capabilities, essential for dialogue editing and noise remediation without sacrificing fidelity. Tonal Balance Control 3 has evolved into a serious referencing tool, offering genre-matched targets and real-time spectral analysis that guides mixing decisions rather than dictating them.

Beyond iZotope's native tools, the suite bundles Guitar Rig 7 Pro and selections from Plugin Alliance and Brainworx, creating a genuinely cross-genre toolkit. The inclusion of the Catalyst Series ( FXEQ, Velvet, Aurora, Cascadia, Plasma ) addresses both conventional and experimental sound design needs.
This package suits producers working across multiple genres who value restoration quality and mixing intelligence. The crossgrade pricing reflects reasonable economics for existing users, though the true value emerges when workflows integrate Ozone's assistant features with RX's analytical capabilities. For hybrid mixing and mastering environments, it remains a versatile, mature option.
