The channel strip's architecture follows the traditional analogue mixing console topology of EQ preceding compression and limiting. This ordering matters. The included buss compressor prioritizes cohesion over dynamic correction, with enough flexibility to function as both a subtle glue processor and a more aggressive tone shaper. The limiter provides safety without introducing the artifacts found in many digital limiters. Each band of the 8-band EQ offers +/- 40dB of gain across the full 20Hz to 20kHz spectrum, suggesting reasonable frequency spacing suited to both surgical and broad tonal adjustments.
