About this plugin
MTremoloMB represents a genuinely sophisticated approach to multiband tremolo processing. Rather than treating amplitude modulation as a static effect, MeldaProduction has engineered a system where frequency-dependent tremolo interacts with their proprietary oscillator technology to create modulation patterns of considerable complexity.
The core architecture allows users to configure between one and six independent bands using three distinct crossover algorithms - analog, linear-phase, and hybrid - each with adjustable crossover frequencies and per-band input gains. This multiband foundation enables surgical tremolo that can affect bass frequencies differently than midrange or treble, a capability valuable for both creative sound design and corrective applications in mastering contexts.

What distinguishes MTremoloMB from conventional tremolo units is its modulation engine. Rather than offering preset waveforms, the oscillators are continuously variable through a synthesis approach combining predefined shapes, custom envelope editing via MeldaProduction's proprietary system, step-sequencer patterns, and algorithmic processing. Layer this with four independent global modulators - functioning as LFOs, envelope followers, or pitch detectors - and you have tremolo that can evolve and respond to incoming audio in genuinely musical ways.
The dual interface structure proves practical: beginners access straightforward controls and presets, while advanced users access the full parametric environment. Additional touches like surround processing support up to eight channels, making the plugin relevant for post-production workflows alongside music production.
MTremoloMB occupies a niche above standard tremolo plugins. It's best suited for producers and engineers comfortable with multiband processing who want tremolo effects that demonstrate genuine sonic intelligence rather than mechanical regularity.
