About this plugin
MAutoDynamicEQ represents a genuinely sophisticated approach to parametric equalization, combining adaptive automation with conventional manual control in a single plugin. Melda Production's proprietary Adjustable Slope Filter technology distinguishes this tool from conventional parametric EQs by eliminating the resonant peaks that typically accompany narrow Q settings, resulting in a notably transparent sonic character that remains musical rather than clinical.
The plugin's most compelling feature is its Filter Adaption technology, which analyzes incoming audio - or reference material - and automatically configures EQ bands to match target spectral characteristics. This proves invaluable for achieving sonic consistency across multitrack sessions or ensuring cohesive album mixes without sacrificing the hands-on control that experienced engineers demand. The spectral separation feature offers additional utility for isolating problem frequencies or fitting competing sources within a mix.

Beyond its adaptive capabilities, MAutoDynamicEQ functions as a comprehensive mixing tool. The integrated analyzer with sonogram provides immediate visual feedback, while variable slope high-pass and low-pass filters - ranging from 6dB/octave to 120dB/octave - handle surgical or aggressive filtering tasks. The inclusion of soft saturation adds harmonic coloration reminiscent of analog consoles without aggressive distortion.
MAutoDynamicEQ serves mixing engineers, mastering specialists, and sound designers equally well. Its modular architecture accommodates everything from detailed corrective work to creative frequency manipulation. The interface rewards exploration while remaining accessible, supporting both mid-side and mono/stereo configurations with extensive modulation capabilities. For engineers seeking an EQ that balances precision with musicality, this plugin delivers measurable results.
