About this plugin
Amplifikation Creme is Kuassa's second-generation high-gain amp simulator, engineered specifically for modern metal and contemporary rock production. The plugin models a discrete amplifier head paired with a matching cabinet stack, delivering the darker, fuller character associated with boutique high-gain tube designs rather than the brighter characteristics of its predecessor, Amplifikation One.
The core architecture centers on three distinct amp voicings - Sharp FMV, Full Midtone Baxandall, and Big Heavy - each accessible across three channels: Clean, Lead I, and Lead II. The Lead channels emphasize bottom-end extension, crucial for contemporary guitar tones. The integrated overdrive section offers three selectable saturation types modeled after legendary pedal designs, providing layered distortion control independent of the amp's gain structure. This separation allows precise shaping of harmonic content without sacrificing dynamics.

The cabinet modeling leverages five 4x12 configurations with four microphone options and freely adjustable dual-miking parameters, offering genuine flexibility in tone sculpting. Complementary tools include a noise gate, limiter, and impulse loader for custom cabinet impulse responses, extending sonic possibilities beyond the stock selections. The interface maintains Kuassa's signature clarity with photo-realistic graphics and logically organized parameters that prioritize workflow efficiency.
Amplifikation Creme occupies a competitive position within the amp simulation market, offering genuine tonal character without unnecessary complexity. It functions as a legitimate alternative for engineers and producers seeking modern high-gain tones without hardware commitments. Native support for VST, VST3, AU, and AAX across 96 kHz sample rates ensures broad DAW compatibility, making it a pragmatic addition to professional production environments.
