About this plugin
Weaponiser Fully Loaded is Krotos' comprehensive sound design sampler for creating impact-driven effects with remarkable speed and precision. The plugin employs a four-stage architecture - Onset, Body, Thump, and Tail - that deconstructs sound design into its essential components, allowing producers to layer and manipulate up to 80 audio files across multiple synthesis and sampling engines simultaneously on a single DAW track.
The core strength lies in its workflow efficiency. Rather than juggling multiple instances or track groups, users can drag and drop samples into the Onset, Body, Thump, and Tail sections, then trigger variations via MIDI with velocity sensitivity. This approach proves invaluable for post-production sound designers spotting to picture, where timing precision and rapid iteration matter. The three built-in synthesis engines complement the four sample playback engines, expanding sonic possibilities beyond the included libraries of footsteps, UI elements, whooshes, trailers, magic sounds, and weapons.

The included expansion libraries are substantial and categorized intuitively, addressing common production scenarios from sci-fi effects to real-world impacts. The browser-based asset management system keeps workflow friction minimal.
Among competitive tools, Weaponiser occupies a distinct position - it's more specialized than general-purpose samplers but broader in application than dedicated foley plugins. It suits sound designers and post-production professionals who need fast, controllable layering without building sounds from scratch. While some users might find the four-stage paradigm constraining for certain design approaches, the preset library and MIDI integration make it accessible for both quick spotting sessions and detailed sound crafting. The fully loaded version justifies its investment for working professionals prioritizing efficiency.
