About this plugin
KORG Collection 6 represents a significant expansion of an already comprehensive synthesizer suite, adding three landmark instruments that span three decades of synthesis innovation. The upgrade delivers the newly modeled TRINITY workstation, the extraordinarily rare PS-3300 polyphonic analog synthesizer, and the SGX-2 premium piano engine, substantially broadening the collection's sonic palette.
For producers and sound designers working across genres, the PS-3300 alone justifies the upgrade. Its meticulous physical modeling captures the character of a synthesizer so scarce that most musicians will never touch an original unit. With a sound engine equivalent to 144 MS-20s, it provides massive, complex analog textures impossible to source elsewhere in software form. The TRINITY brings 1990s workstation character with its distinctive PCM-based warmth and the authentic behavior of its groundbreaking TouchView interface, essential for recreating classic 90s production signatures.

The SGX-2 piano engine addresses a specific sonic need that distinguishes this collection from competitors. Rather than generic piano emulation, it captures full-stereo, loopless samples of concert grand pianos, delivering the dimensional quality essential for orchestral and contemporary classical work.
KORG Collection 6 remains architecturally consistent with earlier versions, maintaining deep integration across its instrument library while preserving the accurate circuit modeling that has defined the series. Existing Collection 4 users will find the upgrade path straightforward, with unified preset management and CPU efficiency across the expanded instrument set.
