About this plugin
The Komplete 26 Ultimate upgrade represents a substantial expansion of Native Instruments' production ecosystem, transforming Komplete Select into an enterprise-level creative suite. This bundle consolidates the essential tools that professional producers rely on across composition, synthesis, sampling, and mixing disciplines.
At its core, the upgrade delivers Kontakt 8, the industry standard for sample-based sound design, alongside Massive X for advanced wavetable synthesis. Guitar Rig 7 Pro provides comprehensive amp modeling and effects processing that extends well beyond guitar applications, functioning as a versatile multi-effects platform for any audio source. Absynth 6 remains the go-to instrument for textural experimentation, leveraging its hybrid synthesis engine to generate everything from subtle evolutionary pads to radically processed percussion and ambient material.

The package includes over 150 instruments and 100 expansions spanning session musicians, orchestral libraries, specialized sound design tools, and established synthesizers like Reaktor 6 and FM8. The addition of iZotope Elements mastering tools rounds out the signal chain, providing essential metering and mix reference capabilities.
Komplete 26 Ultimate positions itself as the comprehensive alternative to assembling tools from multiple vendors. Rather than representing a discrete effects plugin, this upgrade functions as a complete production environment where seasoned engineers can maintain consistent workflow without external dependencies. It's particularly valuable for producers working across multiple genres who require both acoustic modeling and experimental synthesis within a single, unified platform. The integration with Native Access 2 ensures straightforward management of the expanded library.
