About this plugin
iZotope's Music Production Suite 8.5 represents a significant step forward for users operating on versions 1 through 7.1, consolidating the company's mastering and mixing toolkit into a cohesive workflow. The update introduces refinements to core processors including RX Advanced for dialogue and audio cleanup, Ozone for surgical EQ and saturation, and Neutron for mixing intelligence. The suite's real strength lies in its integration of machine-learning assisted tools - notably Master Assistant and the updated Dialogue Match feature - which streamline decisions that typically demand extensive manual iteration.
The sonic character remains clean and transparent across the board, favoring surgical precision over coloration, though Ozone's saturation modes provide character when needed. The updated algorithms respond more naturally to contemporary production styles, from electronic to acoustic sources.

Best suited for mixing engineers, mastering professionals, and producers seeking workflow acceleration, Suite 8.5 delivers genuine utility beyond its constituent parts. Among comparable all-in-one solutions, iZotope maintains competitive standing through its restoration capabilities and increasingly sophisticated AI assistance, though some purists still prefer point-solution specialists for certain tasks.
