Lifeline Expanse (Upgrade from Lifeline Expanse Lite)

About this plugin

Lifeline Expanse represents a sophisticated approach to multi-effect processing built on authentic re-amping principles. Rather than relying on convolution or algorithmic shortcuts, the plugin captures the complex interactions that occur when audio passes through physical amplifiers, microphones, and room reflections. This methodology yields a distinctly organic character that resists the clinical quality of purely digital processing.

The upgrade from Lite to full Expanse unlocks multiband functionality, a critical addition for producers requiring frequency-specific control. The Advanced Page consolidates five specialized modules - Re-Amp, Dirt, Format, Width, and Space - each addressing distinct sonic domains. The Re-Amp section provides four speaker emulations with adjustable mic placement and gain staging, allowing users to dial in both proximity and room characteristics. The Dirt module handles saturation with genuine nuance through texture and dynamic parameters, while Format refines the signal path with smoothing and noise controls. Width and Space modules deliver stereo imaging and reverb shaping with measurable precision via phase metering and duck controls.
