About this plugin
Bloom Mura Masa is a sample-based instrument plugin developed collaboratively between UK producer Mura Masa and Excite Audio, drawing directly from the sonic palette of his 2024 album "Curve 1" and archived studio sessions. Rather than operating as a conventional effects processor, it functions as a curated sound design tool that combines one-shots, loops, and multi-bar phrases organized around club-oriented production workflows.
The plugin's architecture centers on four macro controls - Terminal, Peek, Angle, and Sides - that provide real-time manipulation of the underlying material without requiring deep parameter diving. Three additional effects engines allow further processing, though the design philosophy emphasizes speed and accessibility over granular control. This approach positions it squarely for producers working within dance music, UK garage, and adjacent electronic genres where sonic immediacy matters more than infinite customization.

The 250 preset collection reflects Mura Masa's clubbing aesthetic: gritty sub-bass textures, syncopated drum programming with clear UK garage swing, warped percussion elements, and melodic sequences rooted in rave tradition. The inclusion of one-shot samples enables users to extract individual elements or layer them into custom arrangements, while the newly added sample import feature allows integration of personal material into the plugin's framework.
For experienced producers seeking pre-vetted, production-ready material with genuine artistic direction, Bloom Mura Masa offers clear value. Its strength lies in contextual coherence rather than universal utility - most useful to those already aligned with contemporary club music aesthetics, less relevant for those requiring broad sonic range across multiple genres.
