About this plugin
Safari Audio's Everything Bundle V2 represents a substantial revision to their plugin ecosystem, warranting serious consideration for V1 owners. The upgrade delivers 16 tools spanning saturation, echo, reverb, tape emulation, and synthesis alongside studio utilities, all rebuilt with a coherent design language and functional architecture.
The sonic improvements are tangible. Each plugin benefits from a new oversampling algorithm that measurably reduces aliasing artifacts in the high frequencies, critical for aggressive processing chains where distortion plugins like Gorilla Drive V2 can introduce unwanted digital noise. The Transient Shaper addition to Gorilla Drive particularly addresses a workflow gap - balancing attack definition against sustain without reaching for separate tools has genuine utility in mixing aggressive sources.

The interface redesign prioritizes working efficiency. A unified preset system with tagging, folders, and search functionality substantially improves navigation across 16 plugins. The A/B comparison feature with loudness-matched gain compensation and LUFS readout removes decision-making bias, addressing a genuine mixing problem where perception shifts with volume. The battery simulation in Gorilla Drive V2 reflects thoughtful engineering, modeling power supply sag effects typically associated with vintage hardware saturation.
For mixing engineers and producers working across multiple Safari Audio tools, the V2 upgrade justifies migration. The architectural improvements feel considered rather than cosmetic, particularly regarding workflow acceleration and perceptual accuracy. The new instruments and studio helpers extend utility beyond V1's core processing, though this upgrade targets existing bundle owners seeking measurable gains in sonic quality and mixing efficiency rather than introducing fundamental paradigm shifts.
