About this plugin
e-instruments' Session Keys Electric Bundle consolidates three distinct sampled electric pianos into a single, comprehensively featured instrument. The collection spans the Mark I (Electric R), the Fender Rhodes-adjacent 1973 suitcase model (Electric S), and a meticulously restored vintage stage piano (Electric W), each capturing its respective instrument's mechanical resonance and harmonic character with particular attention to the subtle degradations that define vintage tone.
The sonic approach prioritizes authenticity without sacrificing flexibility. Each piano includes dual sample sets - Studio and Live - addressing the tonal differences between controlled recording environments and stage performance. The inclusion of the Pentamorph morphing control and Animator sequencer with over 440 phrases per library elevates the bundle beyond simple sample playback, enabling both textural manipulation and compositional assistance. Smart Chord functionality streamlines harmonic workflow by generating voicings from single-key input.

Best suited for producers working across jazz, hip-hop, house, and contemporary pop where electric piano constitutes a foundational textural element rather than accompaniment, the bundle's substantial sample library - approximately 38 GB across all three instruments - resolves the limitations typical of lighter piano plugins. Native Instruments NKS compatibility ensures integration into modular production environments.
Relative to competitors like Native Instruments' own Vintage Keys or Spectrasonics' Keyscape, the Electric Bundle distinguishes itself through its focus on a narrower instrument category, resulting in deeper sample investment and more granular control per model. The restoration provenance of the source instruments provides tangible sonic advantage for engineers prioritizing historical accuracy alongside creative transformation.
